 Biblical Voices workshops draw from Alex Cavalli's 20 years of experience in performing Biblical theater, to help you bring out the spoken and unspoken dimensions of communication - to capture and share the vitality of ideas that change hearts and minds. This viewpoint provides structure: participants select Bible passages to work with as a script, practice the physical skills of communication with their story, and give a presentation at the end of the week. This facilitates the participants to become deeply engaged in Scripture and have the opportunity to bring forth, in communication, what they appreciate and understand about the story.

 We often think that because we understand something, we can communicate that understanding if we say it. However, this is often not the case. Effective communication requires understanding and execution of the physical skills of communication. It is no coincidence that many good communicators have theatrical experience because they understand how to use their vocal instruments and how to tell a story.
