unselfed love
In the fifteenth chapter of the Gospel According to St. John, Jesus says, "Greater love hath no man that this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (Jhn 15:13). Communication that changes hearts and lives comes from love such as this.
Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian Science, has this to say about this kind of love and what proceeds from it, "Whatever holds human thought in line with unselfed love, receives directly the divine power." (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, 192:30-31).
Two important principles of effective communication are inseparable from unselfed love:
1. LOVE your audience 2. INTEND to communicate
The workshops help individuals to grow in their understanding and application of what these principles really mean.
