As with most things in life, be it sports, work, prayer, or communication, focus correlates with improved performance. The Biblical Voices communication workshops give participants a unique viewpoint from which to understand the concept of focus in communication - performance storytelling through Biblical theater.
Participants of the workshops who have memorized their scripts, will find that it requires significant focus to bring forth the words steadily and to not lose the pace and rhythm of the story, nor the attention of the audience. This vehicle of focus has the effect of helping participants lose a sense of self-consciousness, resulting in a complete immersion in the ideas they are trying to communicate. When thought is fully focused, the ability to communicate effectively - to move thought - increases. When the focus is on spiritual ideas, the effect of the communication can be transforming.
